Ultramar was the homeworld of the Ultramarines, an army of super-human warriors with advanced armour and weaponry. It was located in the western Multiverse, a seventeenth level reflection of Kalikar. The planet had an average temperature of -9°C, and was dominated by massive mountain ranges covered with thick layers of ice and snow.

Ultramar's main settlement was Macragge Palace, the home of the Ultramarines. It was a massive granite structure constructed on the side of Mt. Guilliman. It was near Macragge Palace where Hotshot was found as a young boy.

Ultramar was destroyed in the year AT 3 by Mashin using the Gatekeeper, although Hotshot believes the effects are reversable. Most of the Ultramarines are now members of the Forces of the Dead. Hotshot barely escaped the destruction of his world, after being rescued by his son Alexander on his ship, the Mortis Infinitum.
