Craig Mackie, better known as Hotshot, is the current Reaper'Mor'st and ex-Warrior of Light. Known for his high-tech armour and weaponry, he aided the Warriors of Light for two years before his destiny as The False Reaper came into play. After The Battle of New Kalikar, Hotshot retreated into his realm for three and a half decades working on Runic. Little is known about him after AT 41.

[edit] From birth through childhood
Craig's date of birth, and place of birth, is unknown to all. He was discovered within a small escape pod on the slopes of Ultramar when he was five years of age. The man who found him, Volcanus, was a member of a group of elite warriors known as the Ultramarines. The Ultramarines believed that he was the reincarnation of their founder, and thus believed he was to lead them to victory against the forces of Chaos. They began to genetically enhance him, so by the time he was eleven, he was six feet tall with superhuman strength, intelligence, and dexterity. He rose through the Ultramarine ranks quickly, becoming a standard soldier by thirteen, a sergeant by fourteen, a veteran by sixteen and then a captain by seventeen. As a captain, he was in charge of a hundred men, including Volcanus in a twist of fate.

During leave on Ultramar, Hotshot was approached by a man whose body was hidden in shadows. He handed Hotshot a photograph and then disappear. Hotshot surveyed the photo, seeing the face of a demon in it. Under the picture in clear handwriting were the words 'Find him, find the light'. A moment later, Hotshot was sucked into a portal (presumably by the Gatekeeper).
